Additional Description January 13, 2011 REQUEST FOR LICENSE PLATE READER SYSTEM – HAND-HELD UNITS PROJECT NUMBER 3016 Document length - 21 pages DUE DATE 2:00 PM January 27, 2011 Dear Sir/Madam: The City of Norwalk is seeking proposals from qualified vendors (companies) to provide, install, and support a centralized, simple to use, capable and cost effective license plate reader system. The system is intended to be used to manage authorized access for residents and nonresidents to the City’s parks and beaches, namely Veteran’s Park and Calf Pasture Beach. The City is seeking submissions that provide a turn-key system. The timeline for the project is for the successful Firm to fully implement the selected system within thirty (30) days of contract award. RFP DOCUMENTS are available upon receipt of this invitation (if not attached) over the Internet at http://www.bid.ci.norwalk.ct.us/ Adobe Acrobat reader is required to view this document.
