| Additional Description |
The Department of Social Services is seeking applications from 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and municipalities to provide Disaster Relief Services to those households that have been directly affected by Hurricane Sandy and that meet stated eligibility criteria.
Disaster Relief Services are needed for the following HS-SSBGS Program Categories:
1.Case Management Services;
2.Counseling;
3.Housing Services;
4.Information and Referral;
5.Protective Services for Adults;
6.Protective Services for Children;
7.Other Services - Renovations/Repairs; and
8.Administrative Services (18% maximum), or other services that do not fall within the SSBGS defined categories. All services must support Hurricane Sandy approved activities.
