The State of Connecticut, Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection/Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (DESPP/DEMHS) is seeking proposals to update the State of Connecticut’s Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan, approved January 9, 2014. This is a time sensitive project. The State of Connecticut is required to update and receive Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) approval for its natural hazard mitigation plan every five years. The updated NHMP must be approved and adopted by the State no later than January 9, 2019.
