The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Ashford are accepting bids for one (1) 1993 International school bus. Bus has a 7.3 liter diesel engine, manual transmission, 182,000 + miles. Bus has some surface rust. This bus was scheduled for replacement and removed from service in June 2011. Inspection by appointment - (860)487-4400.
The Town of Ashford has placed a minimum bid of $1,000 on this 1993 school bus.
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled "Used School Bus Bid," and must be received by the Ashford Selectmen's Office, 5 Town Hall Road, Ashford, CT 06278, on or before 12:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2011.
The Board of Selectmen reserve the right to reject any or all bids not deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Ashford |
