Additional Description TOWN OF ENFIELD, CONNECTICUT LEGAL NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS February 13, 2014 The Town of Enfield is accepting sealed proposals for: PURCHASE OF MUNICIPAL TAX LIENS The properties are identified as: 11 Thompson Court Property ID #012400010010 Description: Volume 421, Page 1056 Assessor Map 008, Lot 0051 Taylor Road Property ID #002700010065 Description: Volume 1501, Page 206 Assessor Map 101, Lot 0198 Bailey Road Property ID #000200020085 Description: Volume 1501, Page 60 Assessor Map 108, Lot 0013 Mullen Road Property ID#001700010030 Description: Volume 2344, Page 210 Assessor Map 049, Lot 0003 Proposals shall be submitted in the manner specified. Requirements and specifications may be obtained from the Department of Assessment & Revenue Collection, 860-253-6340 or the Town’s website, www.enfield-ct.gov. Please utilize the GIS link on the Town’s home page as an aid to identify parcel location. Sealed proposals will be accepted at the Department of Finance, until 11:00 a.m. local time on Friday, March 14, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Cashier’s Check in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the proposed amount for each property in Dollars, refundable to unsuccessful proposers. The Town is requesting written sealed proposals for the purchase of the Town’s municipal tax liens as set forth herein. Liens will be assigned to successful proposers pursuant to the Connecticut General Statutes §12-195h as may be amended and in accordance with the terms of the Request for Proposals. Those firms or individuals that believe they are qualified are encouraged to submit a proposal, together with general information and in accordance with the specific information requested. The right is reserved by the Town of Enfield to reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, to award any part or parts, or total proposal, and to waive informality or technical defects, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Enfield.
