CTtransit is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to serve as the contractor to generate advertising revenue to support transportation services. There are three components to this RFP; the sale of advertising on transit buses, the sale of advertising on passenger shelters in the Hartford area and the generation of advertising revenue on two Connecticut River ferries/miscellaneous other assets owned by the Connecticut Department of Transportation. CTtransit is seeking a contractor to serve as a partner in accomplishing revenue generation from these various transportation assets. It is our strong desire to have a single agency performing all services outlined in the proposal specifications.
There are three separate sets of technical specifications within the overall RFP, one each for bus advertising, shelter advertising and the ferry/miscellaneous advertising. The balance of this Proposal outlines the purpose and the scope of specifications that CTtransit foresees for the items requested; covering all three sets of the technical specifications.
The Site Walk-through will be held at 100 Leibert Road Hartford, CT 06120. When a Vendor is on site at the CTtransit facilities they are required to wear a high-visibility safety vest or high-visibility shirt, at all times. Vendors are required to provide their own high-visibility/safety clothing.
CTtransit has working relationships with the State of Connecticut and First Transit. Through these relationships we have the advantage of requesting the same pricing afforded on their contracts. CTtransit would expect that pricing, for the services requested, on any State of Connecticut and/or First America contract would be extended through this request for Proposal.
This RFP is not to be construed as a commitment of any kind; nor does it commit CTtransit to pay for costs incurred in the submission of a Proposal or for any costs incurred prior to the execution of a formal contract. |
