| Additional Description |
Pursuant to Executive Order 40, the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) is seeking proposals for improvements to affordable multifamily rental housing that will increase energy efficiency, reduce operating expenses, and conserve environmental resources, thereby preserving and increasing the quality of affordable rental housing for residents.
This funding is available to owners of multifamily rental properties with current mortgages with CHFA, or any property owned by a Public Housing Authority or its subsidiaries. Properties that are currently in an existing funding round or that have a pending application to CHFA and CT Department of Housing are not eligible under this round.
Proposals must be submitted electronically, in PDF file format, to energyrfp@chfa.org and must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on May 1, 2014.
There will be an informational conference for interested respondents at CHFA, 999 West Street, Rocky Hill on Tuesday, April 8th at 1:00 p.m.
